I, ____________________________________,as an adult student,
agree to the following terms and conditions to the enrollment in the
MAC LSAT Preparation Program:
Tuition will be paid by the student upon the signing of
this agreement in the amount of $2,800.00 plus the
cost of all books for the regular program or $3,999.00
for the deluxe program, which includes professional advisement,
law school selection, and the preparation of all applications,
resumes, business cards, personal statements, short- answer
essays, and the like. There is a one-time separate
$249.00 Personal Profile Testing and Analysis fee that
is also due on the signing of this contract. (Please issue
a separate check in this amount, made out to Dr. Jean Maculaitis.)
In consideration of the tuition paid herewith, MAC Testing will
provide to the student such materials and classes as MAC, in
its sole discretion, deems appropriate. These materials and
classes may be changed at any time and from time-to-time without
prior notice.
The fee charged is non-refundable and is not prorated by the number
of classes attended. When the student signs this agreement, MAC
has committed itself to reserving a seat for you. MAC has satisfied
its obligations to you and has earned the entire fee whether you
attend class or not.
Attendance is solely your responsibility. Please call the office
at 732.741.6112 or e-mail us if you are going to be late for
class or absent. For obvious reasons, give MAC as much notice
as possible, preferably 24 hours or more.
It is the student’s responsibility to review the materials provided
and prepare for class and to work through the Personal Profile,
a.k.a. MAC ACTION INDICATORS, in a timely fashion and to share
her/his findings with the Director of the MAC Center. Check the
monthly schedule that is posted on our website (mactesting.com)
for this purpose, should you wish to fill out the Profile at MAC
instead of on your own.
It is the student’s responsibility to attend the scheduled classes,
to exhibit the proper attitude, to pay attention in class and
to record his/her attendance on the requisite MAC Attendance
Sheet. All sheets are to be retained in the designated location
in the entrance way of the MAC Center after the instructor signs
them.
MAC may use the results of the student tests and other activities
in connection with any studies, articles, papers, books, presentations
and/or other advertising MAC deems appropriate.
Any invoices subsequent to the date of this agreement that are
not paid after thirty (30) days from the date of said invoice
shall be charged 2% per month interest. All returned checks
are subject to a return check fee $30.00. Any legal fees or
other expenses and costs arising out of this agreement shall
be the responsibility of the student, if over 18, and/or the parent(s).
See the annexed guarantee, which is incorporated and made
a part of the agreement.
No student may begin classes a MAC Testing without having signed
and submitted this contract to MAC Testing on or before the
scheduled first session. There are no exceptions.
LSAT GUARANTEE
If the student completes the Personal Profile and reports said
findings to Director of the MAC Center, commits himself/herself
to perfect attendance[1], punctuality, proper attitude and attention
in class and persistent vocabulary mastery, uses the myriad of
verbal and game strategies when taking the actual LSAT and completes
all independent assignments given during the workshop, then MAC guarantees
an increase of 7 points from the “base line” test to the final LSAT score
achieved by the student. The “base line” will be established by MAC by
averaging all scores of the LSATs taken prior to enrollment in the MAC course.
If the student enrolls in the MAC course prior to taking the LSAT, then
MAC will establish a base line by having the student complete Practice
Tests One and Two and then averaging these scores.
If the student completes the course with the requisite minimum
number of hours, i. e., six hours per week, then MAC guarantees
an increase from the base line of 7 points on the final LSAT or
the student may continue with the MAC LSAT test preparation course
at no extra charge for seven additional weeks. Specifically excluded
from this Guarantee are any learning disabled and/or emotionally disturbed
individuals.
[1] Perfect attendance is considered a minimum of three two-hour
classes per week or 25 hours per month for a total of 125 hours for
the five-month enrollment period. Total attendance of less than this
minimum number of hours will void this guarantee.
Payment in full for the LSAT test preparation workshop is due
on or before the first session. The test preparation fee
covers up to 20 weeks of instruction from 7.21.03 to 12.05.03.
Private sessions with Dr. Mac are at a $225 per hour rate.
Private sessions with other MAC strategists are at a $75
per hour rate or at a $110 per hour rate with Ph.D. and
J.D. strategists. All such arrangements must be made
directly through Dr. Mac. Strict records will be kept of
all private sessions. If you are unable to keep your appointment,
kindly give 24-hours notice or you will be charged for the session.
There are no exceptions.
Payment in full is due at the end of each private session.
Any fees not paid after 30 days from the date of the original
invoice shall be charged 2% per month interest on the unpaid balance.
All returned checks are subject to a returned check fee of $30.00.
Failure to meet your MAC financial obligations will result in legal
action being taken against you. Such legal action will be at
your expense.
I agree to comply with the above MAC PAYMENT POLICY in full.
